Motorola has a better selection. Nokia's are good too.

nokia's easy to use and is like a pc, and compatible with a lot of programs and applications. new nokia phones have a different OS though, symbian (ie N-series), so they have new(and hard to find) applications, but still is user friendly. Give the iphone a shot too, maybe it's good.

the main cellular service providers in the united states are at&t (cingular), verizon, and sprint/nextell. cingular has really good coverage, verizon is very affordable and sprint too.
best cell phone brands are nokia, samsung, motorola, sony ericsson, LG, and blackberry
