Well, we've been separated for over 7 years. He'd be the head of a household he hasn't lived in for seven years. Kinda symbiotic, yes? Head leaves, body stays and does all the work. Or should I say, empty head leaves....
Maybe we should make a law that husbands have to function in that capacity and not compete for one of the children's position in the family.....
Where in order to file as Head of Household you have to have a job, and fulfill your end of the bargain, like cleaning up after your own self, taking out the garbage, maintaining the car and Providing For the Family. I mean, that's what the women filing as Head of Household do.
If men are so great, this should be a piece of cake, after all we are the "weaker' sex......

You really do want to enslave females, don't you? Now you want to make it legal? For females to be dogs and abused? Now you want the right to take away a female's humanity? Do you realize all the bad that could come from that? If the male says 'give me sex, I want sex' and the female doesn't want it, she'll be punished or raped. If the male says 'let me have another girl besides you' he has the right to cheat. If the male says 'have sex with a girl and let me watch', then what? The female will be punished for refusing such an immoral act??? The male can say anything and everything and it's alright? He can do anything, and she can't do a thing because she will punished??? I mean, he could say the right words to make it ok for HIM to commit adultery! And you want that to be legal??? THINK about this! This is ridiculous! And you know something, there is a difference between being head of the household and being a dictator!

My husband would have run us into the ground if he alone was the deciding force in our marriage! Of course his personal vacation scrapbook would be larger and the collection of expensive toys he loves would have grown but the kids and I like to wear shoes without holes and have food in the fridge.
Legal penalties for disobedience? What country do you live in and in what century????????

actually, i believe this law IS in effect somewhere in this country. if you looked up EVERY law that was established in your county and state, you'd be AMAZED.remember, most laws that were established, were created over 100 years ago.
in iowa, i learned that it is illegal to buy alcohol from a store, and then sell it to anyone within 100 ft (or yds, i don't remember) of the place you purchased it from. (or something similar of the nature)

I love to obey my husband, but not everyone feels this way. I'm happy to be a submissive wife, but maybe some men and women aren't happy in that type of relationship. My husband is a good man with high morals, so I don't mind obeying him.

You crack me up Sandstorm! We live with enough rules and regulations. The government needs to stay the heck out of our personal lives.
Besides, just who would take care of the little darlings, and the big man of the house if the women where sent to prison?
Brat!
