Hun, they already do. And with all the great freedoms we women have in this great country, we have a choice. Thanks to all my sisters who came before me to pave the way.

Women will always have to work since they INSISTED they wanted to work. When they got "out there" and found out its a LIFETIME and not just a day shopping some are complaining. Now that society has basically got 2 people for the same pay it used to get for 1 person, there is no going back. Way to go ladies!

they have the right to choose whatever they want, just like men. believe it or not, there is no natural genetic make-up in men and women that enables them to be better with children or that makes them better suited for the workplace. women are not born knowing how to cook clean iron and raise children any more than men are, they learn from home and the life around them. just because women can make babies doesn't mean that is their destiny in life.
the main difference between men and women in my opinion is that men are naturally physically stronger, so in the past they relied on violence, women being naturally physiclaly weaker were dominated. on the other hand, women have better common sense and so are better able to cope woth situations they find themselves in (left with a crying baby!)

Hello!
There is no one like mum.
Especially in the forming years.
She is a natural teacher .
The years fly by so fast one day the children will not be there anymore.
So many years lost you can never get back.
When the children grow up and don't have time for the parents in old age it is to late to cry.
This may sound harsh but you say that you really love your daughter ,true love provides by making sure that the child's needs are met and dad is meant to be the provider the wage earner.
Take care!

"should" doesn't come into it. If a woman wants to work, then she has every right to do so. If she wants to stay home with the children instead, then she has the right to do that to. Same goes for men - either gender has the right to choose what way to lead their life in order to gain the most satisfaction & contentment. It's a subject for each family to decide, not for society to decide.

i think it's fine for women to work and it's fine for them to stay home to raise kids. it's a personal choice. personally there is no way i could stay home, i need work for validation.

Yes, everyone needs a full life, they need to contribute more than just cooking and cleaning, who wants to be a maid for a lazy husband. Its not the american dream, it's boring.

HELL YES! In these times NO woman can trust what will happen,it is vital that a woman be capable of supporting herself and her children. Also we fought for equality, what's equal about the poor slob slaving away, while his woman sits home," watching her stories"?Get up you housebound woman, make a difference in your own lives.

More to the point: Should They be forced not to seek gainful, constructive employment, and if so Who would presume to encroach upon Their right to self-actualization?

If they want to, or if they have to.
Should men go out to work?
If they want to , or if they have to.
