Is it coincidence that there were two shows about creepy monster-like families? Or was one of them trying to be a copy cat of the other's success? I watched and liked both of them, but preferred Addams family. Ahhh....those were the days. Okay, boomer trivia fans.....help me out with this pondering!

It's not so different from today, TV producers get ideas and what gets popular on one station gets copied as it seems like a good idea. Everything is copied. Remember that Chicago Hope and ER started at the same time. Of course one show lasted a number of years and the other seems to just never end. It seems that TV goes through cycles. Now we have all the CSI shows and all the Law and Order shows. There isn't all that much originality on TV. Everything goes in cycles.
