The new laws make it easier for foreigners to visit Vietnam. Vietnam customs now has visa upon arrival service for several countries, but I wouldn't advise doing this yet. Some friends of mine tried that last year, and almost got shipped back to the U.S.

You could go to the nearest Vietnam embassy or consulate or work with a travel agent who is familiar with travel to Vietnam. They will prepare your visa for a nominal fee, which is worth it for not having to screw with the paperwork.

If you are Viet Kieu (you should know that that means if you are), you will be able to obtain a visa for up to a 3 month stay and can extend it to stay longer. If you are not, then you can obtain a tourist visa good for 30 days and can extend it one time for another 30 days wile in Vietnam.

Take Euros or U.S. Dollars with you and exchange it for Dong when you get there.

Good luck!

You will need to contact an embassy or consulate of Vietnam. Only they can tell you what is needed.
Mostly there are websites with all information you need.
If you can not find it, ask a travel agent, they should also know where to look for the answer.

Why are you in Denmark? Denmark is for Danish people.
