Bush gave up rather quickly, and now says Pakistan is a sovereign nation and the US cannot send troops there unless President Musharif gives permission.

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority...I am truly not that concerned about him." - GW Bush, 3/13/02
-----
“bin Laden doesn’t fit with the administration’s strategy for combating terrorism.... he said, look, you can send 100,000 special forces...to the mountains of Pakistan and Afghanistan and hunt him down, but he just said that’s not a top priority use of American resources." -- Neocon Weekly Standard editor Fred Barnes discussing his recent meeting with Bush, 9/14/06

When asked why he opposed sending a large contingent of US forces into Pakistan to hunt for Osama, Bush replied:

"Pakistan is a sovereign nation...In order for us to send thousands of troops into a sovereign nation, we've got to be invited by the government of Pakistan. --GW Bush, 9/15/06

Because besides being a democrat, Barack Osama Obama isn't too much of a threat. Its OK to let him stay here.

But it is puzzling to know how conservatives support Al Qaeda. Since the Dems got control of congress the Speaker of the House has visited the dictators that support Al Quada, and the Senate Majority Leader said we can't win the war. Who could be supporting Al Qaeda more than that?

Ummm.... so later in the future, if they want to use a fear base mentality to control the people they would call on Al Qaeda to do something scary. Kinda like there henchmen.

Hmmm? Are you implying that Clinton was actually a Conservative in disguise when he let Osama keep on running free?

They don't.

You insult every American and their allied forces who have made the effort to find and capture Osama bin Laden, stop al-Qaeda. Men and women have died to stop them. You discount them all to give yourself political brownie points in your own mind.

You do so callously to feed your own politically bigoted behavior. You blame fellow Americans and say nothing of Islam/Iraq/etc. except as a springboard to attack the U.S. or at best, half of it.

I'm a democrat. You don't speak for me. Your approach is contemptible.

Funny. Conservatives are trying to destroy the terrorist network and their political opponents criticize them for it.

To answer your question: They don't. That's why OBL is HIDING, sir.

And this comes from what source?

We can't fight to the extentthat we want because the demoncratic congress won't let us.
