I want to upgrade my computer, what should be the first? What is the thing slowing me down the most?

Mainboard : Asus M2R32-MVP
Processor : AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ @ 2400 MHz
Physical Memory : 2048 MB (2 x 1024 DDR2-SDRAM )
Video Card : ATI Technologies Inc Radeon X1300XT/X1600 Pro Series
Hard Disk : ST3320620AS (320 GB)
Monitor Type : Hanns.G HX191 - 19 inchs

Just upgrade to a DX10 graphics card and you should be "future proof". Consider the 8600GT. It is just priced a bit more than budget cards but performs better than a 7600GT and has plenty of performance reserve (for tweakers).

BUT if you have a fat wallet, go for the 8800GTS and that PC of yours should "fly". You may have to upgrade power supply though.

Yeah, grab yourself a graphics card. If you're willing to spend a little over 200 bucks, connect a couple of GeForces with SLI. Check this card out, everyone seems to love it.

I don't know how fast your ram is, but if it is anything slower than DDR2-800 than it would be that. But your video card and monitor are pretty weak also, compared to your motherboard and processor atleast.

Graphics card
All of that is high performance except the graphics card which is a medium level graphics card.

Upgrade your memory first, that will save u alot of trouble in the long run if u need to upgrade anything else
