women have lots of scopes for working such as being a lady doctor taking care of women's health related problems so that men doctors don't have to access...
women can be police, teachers, scientists, policy makers....
men will not always understand societal problems where women have major roles or women are in interaction.
it is essential that women get ample training to take up a decent professions instead of being an object like being a prostitute or a model for men's pleasure.
Of course first responsibility for supporting a family goes to men. in a society where men are in much higher number than jobs needed in the economy, there men's are given primary responsibility to take up the works. It is men's job that women are not neglected in a society where women's empowerment by jobs is not always possible.
Obviously in Europe or America jobs needed to be done are much higher in number than the number of men who can work. therefore women's are essentially required to work.
in middle east they are not as much required as because men can take care of almost all works needed to be done. after all women are not alien. they are men's mothers, sisters, wives and so on.

I dont know what kind of cave man told you that but women work whether it is a job or raising a kid and keepin the house clean for when men get home

why should women not work? i think that is what you mean. they should if they dont have children it builds confidence and leadership skills. they should not if they have children because the children will not prosper in a day care with other "mothers" taking care of them. the house would be a disaster, the man would not be nurtured cuz the woman would be just as tired.

Working is independence (financially). Working is going out, meeting people. Working is educating yourself.

women and men both need to work to get away from the domestic sphere and to support themselves, if they have kids, its even more important that they are working to bring in the money to support their children!
