No I've never really been afraid of being alone as I can defende and handle myself well. I love being around people too much to be alone so it's not something that I would ever intentionally choose to do. I have a wonderful sweetheart who will be with me real soon and neither of us will ever have to be alone again.

nope. i've lived alone since the age of 19, so for 36 years now, and usually when i go out on a job, it's a solo posting, so if i was afraid of being alone, i would have gone off the deep end long ago.

I haven't been alone for 21 years. And now in a short few months, I will be alone because my Husband has terminal cancer. As I watch him slowly slipping from us, I wonder how I'll cope being alone. He was always there. It scares me to think about it.

When I was 18 years old, I was sent to 'Nam, although we worked as a team, I never felt so vulnerable, so alone in my life. It was the first time in my life after running away from home that I was on my own. I felt that if I got hit, no one would know.

I love being alone. I like to watch horror movie when I'm home alone at night.

no. I'm accustomed to it. this dragon's been in his cave so long, all the memories of socializing would be gone, if there were any to begin with. I used to be, well, a little nuts. I was a danger to myself and others. stress can do crazy things to you.
I'm appearing now, and surprisingly, not only did I not become anti-social, I am better interacting with people than I used to be. figures, since I had years to mentally refine my tact.
