i was just wondering if this kind of thing has ever happened in the world series to win a game for the team on offense when it happens.

I think he meant a bases loaded walk, not walk off home run. As for that I am not sure if it has because I have not found a WS game to end like that. A baseloaded hit I've seen but not a walk.

I am not sure whether a World Series game ever ended on a walk, or if a World Series ever ended on a walk.

However, in 1999 the Mets lost the NLCS to the Braves when Kenny Rogers walked in the winning run in game six of the series. That loss ended the series and allowed the Braves to go the World Series where they would eventually lose to the Yankees in 4 games.

So it has happened in the postseason, just not sure about the World Series.

There has been 2 walk off homeruns to win the world series championship 1 by Bill Mazeroski with pitt against new york in 1960 and again in 1993 by joe carter for toronto against phili,,,,,,,,, If you meen a walk like 4 balls i do not think that has ever happened in world series history

Great question. I have not been able to find any world series game that ended on a walk. I am sure it has never been done to end a series.

Most exciting end to a series was Bill Mazeroski's game 7, walk off homer.

yes and yes Bill Mazeroski ended a series, only person to ever do that.

Opps Bill is the only one in game 7.
