fan circulates the cold air, put your thermostat on cool and make sure your fan is on auto . i myself had problems this week and had our ducts cleaned, cool air wasn't Strong enough, our air flow pressure was weak due to dust and dirt build up. so tonight it is real cold, works like a charm. so if your furnace does not have enough air flow try checking your filter and see if its dirty and look in your cool air return vents , if you have alot of dust in there it, you should consider your ducts cleaned out. it worked for us.

Well you want it to cool right meaing cold air . and fan just airI hoped that help Oh and if you put it on cool and still feels hot then your have no freon!

One would think COOL. If that doesn't work, get it serviced.
