Difficult to be exact about this, but among the top most expensive cars [classics] are such as RR, Ferrari, Lamborghini etc.
There is a Merc somewhere in Canada once owned by Herman Goering, not sure how much it's worth but probably a great deal, not for the car, but it's history.

In 1990, one of these Bugattis sold for $15 million to a private buyer in Japan.

Don't know nor care.If it costs that much you probably can not get insurance to drive it. And if you did some idiot in a SUV or pickup would probably Run a stop sign or light and total it on you.And then you would find out there not insured.

The Mc Claren sports car which is made in England and costs around £1million.This is a road car ,perfectly legal on our roads and has a waiting list on orders.
