yeah..so..yesterday i did my laundry in the public laundry room..and i put my laundry in the dryer. so i didn't have time to take it out and i went somewhere for a few hours. when i come to get my laundry it was out on a table and folded nicely on a plastic bag..and my friend's laundry was in the dryers! and her dad was doing the laundry so he was the one that took it out and folded it..i guess because he needed to use the dryers. and he definately knew it was my laundry because it had the sweatshirt i always wear and some clothes that i alwys wear when he sees me. BUT i had my underwear in there! and i had a pair of underwear that had lace on it and cherries. and im 13 by the way! i was SO embarassed yesterday..but i still had dinner at their house lol. and i was around hhim and really embarassed. but today i wasnt that embarassd so i guess i recovered quickly. but he folded my underwear!! aah! im not that embarrassed that much anymore LOL. so would you be really embarassed?!!!!??????

Not to worry, Dad's with daughters get used to folding frilly things and after a while its just another thing to fold. Probably done his own kids dozens of time without a thought. (You probably got kudos for being neat and getting your stuff to the laundry!) Don't worry about, he probably forgot about it two minutes after the job was done.

Hi,
I personally thought it was a very nice gesture on his part. And he did probably need the dryers. He does his own family's wash & I am pretty sure he does his daughter's underwear. Good thing for some parents-as this Dad was just being nice & since you hang out there anyway what's 1 more load to fold. I as a parent I do this at the laundrymat also-people lead busy lives, forget their laundry & it's just a good gesture besides I probably needed the dryer also. You won't want your laundry all wrinkled & just thrown any place. Tell him thanks & maybe some day you can help him fold up all family's clothes. Good deeds never go undo & with age you'll soon know this. Have a good day. :0)

To him, this isn't a big deal. He did you a favor by folding your laundry. What do you think he should of done. Started folding it and then seen the lace panties and said to himself "gosh, oh no, I shouldn't do this.... let me mess it all up and stick it back in the dryer". No, he's more grown up than that. He wouldn't of given it a thought. He has kids and a wife for goodness sakes. Since it didn't bother him, why would it bother you? It's just clothes. Be thankful your best friends dad is so sweet.

Ha! When I was stationed at Kirtland Air Force Base, I lived in a building with one other girl, and 24 guys. I bet you I folded everyone's underwear at least once!
It was kind of fun, in a way, because some of them would come in and realize I had folded their underwear - and be embarassed, but I just said, "I have a Dad, and brothers, no big deal."
I wondered if any of them ever tried to check out my underwear, though....

I would be pretty embarassed too. Don't worry too much though because he's seen underwear before. I think it was nice of him to fold your clothes though. Just make sure you take your clothes out in time so that it doesn't happen again.

Nah I'd say your friends dad was just being nice.
I mean you don't take someones clothes out of the dryer and just toss them on the folding table, that's rude.
Besides if he knew they were yours he sure wouldn't want his kid to get the idea that he was lame now would he.
Lace and cherries, Kool!

There is no reason to be emberassed. Unless he is a pervert he is not looking at you in that way being that he has a daughter the same age as you. He is probably used to folding girls underwear and just thought he would do you the favor of folding it instead of leaving it in a big pile to wrinkle.

Yes i would feel uncomfortable and a little creeped out. He is obviously old enough to understand what 'personal privacy' is about. If he took them out and just put them in a bag or whatever i would be grateful but thats a bit over the top....and i dont care if his daughter is the same age...its off putting to think that he did it.

Nah. He's got a daughter of his own, right?
I'm sure it isn't the first time he's had to fold girls underwear.
Still, though, I would have been weirded out at first.
