public transportation
little things that add up (turn off unnecessary lights, turning things off when not in use, avoiding high energy usage products)
recycle (ie. recycling paper means less energy consumed to make new products from scratch like cutting trees which is also hazardous to the environment in other aspects as well)
Unfortunately this is not enough, we should do more, but at least we should cover this individually. I think people and interest groups, the government, and businesses need to take more action and responsiblity about the other significant causes of global warming as well. Though what we do indivdually is important as well, if you total the numbers of our individual impact on the environment, we as individuals, have a great impact on the environment as well.

Turning off the lights in the house when we're not in the room. We don't use the heater as much, just put a jumper on (cold here in Australia lol) Walking sometimes instead of using the cars all the time. Recycling and not using as much water!
Not enough but trying to be good :-)

All the normal things. I get all kinds of ads in the mail, so I cut them up into lttle note size (if the back is blank), put all paper into recycle bin, same with plastic. I live in a desert, so I save on water because of all the new houses. Too many hot tubs & spas in houses now. Too much grass & non-native plants. Too many palm trees. I could go on...

I try to save as much electricity as i can, we've got those energy saving light bulbs, we try not to use plastic bags, i catch a bus to and from school, we never use the drier unless it's raining or urgent, and we only use the washing machine and dishwasher if it's a full load.
