I like one of my closest friends.....help?
I know this guy who calls me names but doesn't like it when other people call me names. He claims he knows me better than I know myself. One time I got this girl to say I love you to him in Spanish.......he looked straight past her and said it back to me. I've caught him staring at me a COUPLE times from across the room. He matches every "Does he like you?" test. I think he likes me but the only thing is..he confuses me sometimes. He acts like he never wants to give me a hug. He's called my house a couple times but rarely answers the phone when I call him. We rarely talk on myspace and email now...........when 3-4 months ago we were talking everyday for HOURS. He hasn't told me if he likes me or not and he's one of my closest friends. Any suggestions?
oh and I told him I liked him about 5-6 months ago.

Get him alone. Completely away from his friends and yours. Ask him how he wishes to proceed with this relationshiip and LISTEN to his answer. Then proceed accordingly. This guessinh will get you no where.

You like him 5 months ago? Meaning you don't like him all that much now. If that's really true, why do you care? What I'd say from the way you describe his behavior is that he really likes you but he is holding back because he is afraid of being rejected. Best to tell him where he stands. His he just a friend? If so, make it clear; if it's more, make that clear too. No need to play games.

He may have liked you at the start and hes starting to see you more as a friend as time goes on.
You need to make an honest move now before he moves on. Let him know how you feel and how hard its been to come out with it. Just go for it. You wont know if you dont try.
If i doesnt work, offer him sex. Im sure he'll change his mind quickly..lol..just joking

I have like the same thing going on with this girl who's my friend. I think he likes you, but is confused or hesitant about something. Give it time, he'll come around.

He was probably dropped on his head as a child... Make atonements and give him time and more space, or make the first move.. Just go up to him one day and whisper, "Let's do it", and see how he responds... That would work for me...

It sounds like he likes you and is denying it, maybe you should talk to him about it you never know maybe hes feeling the same way you are.
