people who contribute to some categories like P &S by asking more questions should also be awarded with "top contributer" tag. at present, it is given only to people who answer .

I think that is a great idea, the bad part about having a badge is that you are wide open, fair game for anyone and everyone to take pot shots at.....the trolls will thumbs down and insult a top contributor quicker than anyone.
You certainly deserve one, as many question (and good questions) that you ask.....thank you

I personally would remove the top contributors' badges, they are more an embarrassment than other, we never asked for them and they awake unhealthy feelings of jealousy on people that we might want to consider friends.
