I need details on a large spider with three yellow dots on it's body. Lives in Missouri.

And also, what about a rather small spider with three red dots on its body?

Thanks.

Sounds like a jumping spider on the yellow dots

Did it resemble this cute little feller right here?

The red sounds like a male black widow

The best, of course, are the wolf spiders.

They just love blending in with the carpet and giving barefoot people the lovely tactile sensation of stepping on something furry and wriggling.

The small spiders with three red dots, may be a Black Widow, I believe males have three red dots and females have a red hour glass shape on them. As for the other one. I'm clueless =(

Hi,

Only young female black widow spiders are gloss black with an hourglass shaped marking on the underside of its abdomen which, although most commonly red, may range in color from white to yellow to various shades of orange and red. They also bear a small, usually red (colors vary) dot near the spinnerets, which is separate from the hourglass. A large female black widow spider can grow to about 1.5 inches (38 mm), counting legspan. The body is about 0.5-0.6 inches (12-16 mm). Male black widow spiders are half the size of the female or smaller. They have longer legs and a smaller abdomen in relation to their body size. They are also usually dark brown with varying colors of stripes/dots, with no hourglass mark. Adult males can be distinguished from juvenile females by their more-slender body, longer legs and large pedipalps typical of most other male spiders.

The redback spider (It resembles a Black widow spider).
It is easily recognisable by its black body with prominent red stripe on its abdomen. Females measure about a centimetre in length while the male is smaller being only 3 to 4 milimetres long. The female redback has a round body about the size of large pea (1 centimetre long), with long, slender legs. The body is a deep black colour (occasionally brownish), often (but not always) containing an obvious orange to red longitudinal stripe on the upper abdomen. The stripe is sometimes broken or looks like small red dots.
