Yahoo doesn't have enough people to scan every question 100% of the time. Rather, I think they use an algorithm that parses questions for certain keywords. I'm sure "loser" would qualify, regardless of the context.
Addendum:
I stand corrected. I did a search for "loser" like suggested above. Yep, a gazillion hits. Maybe they saw your Q as an attack on all users of Y!A, but that would include you as well, so IDK [scratching head].

To be perfectly honest, I´m a rather naughty atheist who sometimes likes to joke around, and the violation notices I get are few and far between, and the ones I do get, I know I can´t appeal them because I recognise that I broke community guidelines. Your situation has two options - 1.Your answers are offensive, 2. You have an enemy report monkey who´s out to get you. You choose which. Y!A does not delete ´perfectly good answers from atheists´ - I know that for a fact. Tip - don´t accept contacts. They are often wolves in sheep´s clothing. Also, always keep your questions and your answers hidden.

The violations thing seems arbitrary at times. I had two questions removed about 2 weeks ago, where I asked about which of two video conversion packages to use, Cucusoft or Wondershare. In any case, there was NOTHING in my question that was a violation of any of the rules. And, there was nothing in the best answers that I chose that was a violation either.
On the one hand, I was so mad that I wanted to email Yahoo Answers and tell them to reinstate the questions. On the other hand, I guess I have better things to get annoyed about.

it happen to me a lot and to others too. I got violated for just asking just a simple and appropriate question. Some people got violated for just saying that they got violated and ask why? their question was deleted. suck.
Yahoo answer sometime is not fair. Like some people post up inappropriate question or avatar pictures and nothing happen to them. I've seen avatar showing a female private area and many other questions....I wonder how they get by that?

Try using the word loser again...
I used it yesterday and woke up with a violation...
And on top of this, the word was adressed to Charlie...
Guess I'll end up with another violation for this answer too lol...
