There have been some people that sleep walked or did things after taking to many sleeping pills. This was in the news not too long ago. I believe it was Ambien which now has been changed to Ambien CR

When you sleep, your body releases a chemical that more or less paralyzes you. Otherwise you would act out your dreams. Some people don't produce enough of this chemical so they 'sleepwalk' (act out their dreams). I suppose if you found a way to inhibit this chemical reaction you would sleepwalk too.
