it's the same with a-rod, he has been all over the news this year and it isnt even good news. i mean c'mon everyone is going to have their critics, but i bet you a-rod gets more publicity than bonds. how do you know bonds did steroids, just because of how he looks, and then you call it circumstantial evidence give me a break. i guarantee you hank aaron took some type of stimulant back then that is banned today, and people still say well it was legal back then. doesnt that give the people of the past an advantage. if he was on your favorite team and doing all of this you would love the man, also if he was traded within the next 24 hours you will not be disappointed. the man is 43 in 2 weeks and is the league leader in walks(steroids dont help eyes), bonds supposedly took steroids in 1998 he has HOF numbers before 98, and since speculation raised he would have stopped if he had taken any and still put up massive numbers. barry bonds will also have a record no one else will have 500 homeruns and 500 steals. with or without steroids 500 homeruns for barry bonds didnt seem impossible when he first broke into the league. he had 334 with the pirates before he left for the giants and would have easily broken 500 and he did. also in 2001 when he hit 73 homeruns, no i didnt stutter. the only people who hated him were the dodgers.

I certainly am, but until he hits #756, this is the biggest baseball-related thing you're going to hear. If it wasn't for Barry Bonds, you'd be hearing a lot more about the underachieving misery of the 2007 New York Yankees.

Yes! It's always the same question over and over: "Did Bonds use steroids?" "Is Bonds going to break Aaron's record", etc, etc.

I have just given up putting effort into my answers and just give short, simple answers, because I know someone is going to ask the same question again.

While we're on the subject of questions asked too much...

-Yankees done?
-Who will win the World Series?
-Favorite baseball team?

It's enough to drive someone mad!

He is getting overkilled a bit here on YA. But he is also about to break one of the most hallowed records in the game, complicated by the steroid controversy. So, whether we like it or not, the guy is big news right now.

ok the reason he has the most walks is because they are INTENTIONAL WALKS! you dont need good eyes to get an intentional walks.

but with that some idiot will say that the teams are afraid of him. not so true, the teams that walk him are just doing the right thing the chance of a homerun at that time by anyone is zero.
