Dani- Reign in Blood is my favorite slayer album and top 5 metal albums of all time. :)

they are both awesome but its gotta be slayer cause there ******* the best for mosh pits and they there instruments excellent..

personally i prefer iron maiden
i like metal but im not into really heavy stuff like slayer
plus i've always enjoyed iron maidens way of telling stories through song and they can still shred and they're all very skilled musicians
but props to slayer as well, that band has some serious takent
we owe the creation of thrash to them metallica, and megadeth
so all i can say in the end is rock on slayer, rock on iron maiden

Both are excellent metal groups! They're really not comparable though. If you want excellent musicianship and a more complex and melodic approach, Maiden is the band to listen to. If you're looking for straight up aggression and speed to thrash to; Slayer is the choice.

Slayer. They're one of my favorite bands, probably the first metal band that I was into. My mother used to tell me that they worshiped Satan, so she wouldn't let me buy any of their albums. Then, I bought one behind her back and got caught. She finally decided that I was going to listen to whatever I wanted, with or without her consent.
In short, Slayer reminds me of the day I finally felt free.

SLAYER HAS BEEN TRUE TO THE TRASH METAL SCENE FROM SAN FRANCISCO IN THE 80,S AND IT IS SLAYER WHO HAS INSPIRED OTHERS FROM THAT TIME IN SAN FRANCISCO TO PRESENT DAY BANDS LIKE TESTAMENT,METALLICA,MEGADETH,EXODUS,HELLOWEEN,FATES WARNING,VENOM,THE LIST GOES ON.
SLAYER IS THE PINNACLE OF THE ENTIRE THRASH METAL SCENE THAT HAS TAKEN OFF IN EUROPE AS WELL.SLAYER ALSO HAS ALWAYS HAD THE SAME VOCALIST AS MAIDEN HAS NOT,NOT THAT IT MAKES SLAYER ANY BETTER IT JUST THAT BRUCE DICKINSON IS SUCH A FOCAL POINT IN MAIDEN FANS MUST REMEMBER THAT MAIDEN WAS NOT CREATED BY BRUCE OR WITH BRUCE IN THE BAND.

last time I was at a Slayer concert, it took me a while to figure out what song they were playing. LOL It was so friggin LOUD.
