Well where I am we most of the time set the record high, so the weather man says the record low, which I like because I did not think it could be that low on that day, or dreaming it would be.;}

Very true. Though I know my in-laws make a big deal about any weather. Their friends are the same way. I can just hear them mentioning the record high in their conversations with them.

My Dad keeps track lol... probably because most of the time he remembers when the old record was set... and he is a farmer, weather is part of the business.

nope. I look at the weather report almost every day on yahoo to see if I can ride my motorcycle and yahoo has the worst weather reporters in the world. They always say it's going to rain even when it's crystal clear outside. They are worthless.

The only record high I remember is the one where I mixed whiskey and weed. Now THAT was a record high.
