If you can find an agency around your area Such as John Robert Powers, they bring in diffrent agents and casting directors almost every weekend, they also offer classes (for dance, vocal,acting and modeling) and workshops with the agents. I've been going to John Robert Powers in Jacksonville for 2 years and I have an agent that works for both Disney and Nick, and I have to fly out to LA on a regular basis in order to audition for roles.

First of all you will need an agent, not some dumb school like John Robert Powers. You should try to submit some pictures to real agencies like Elite and Wilhelmina. If they are interested you can work with them and they will set up audition dates for you to try out to be in shows like Hannah Montana and others.

Ask your parents to enroll you in an acting school or class. Study acting for the next 5 or 6 years. If you still like acting after the classes, you can audition for roles.

get an agent who is part of disney.
my friend has an agent and can go to disney channel auditions whenever she wants. (i just don't know how to find a disney agent).
they also call her every once in a while just to take recent pictures so producers and those other people can just look at their database and find potential actors/actresses.

get an agent. you really can't try out with out one. try to get in your cmmunity theater for practice. it takes alot of time and effort. good luck
