Does anyone remember back in the 1940's, when the Democrat party was different than it is today? If so, what differences can you name?

The Dixiecrat's had racism as a matter of policy. Women had little to do with the upper levels of the party. They did not even allow any race of men except for whites to be in the upper levels of the party of government.

I recall when HHH was considered a liberal.

Today ol'Hurbert would be called a "neocon" by the likes of progressives like Cindy Sheehan.

Times have changed.
