Nothing like getting that rock hard glob of toothpaste on your brush first thing!
I say keep your own and put it away.
I am getting ready to get one of those baskets that the kids use in college for my bath stuff.
Whats worse is when the last person brushes and doesnt rinse the sink.
I am an unintentional pen thief I admit.
I have a pen from every corner of N.Y state. Whats really bad is when you DO find a pen, and you go to chew on it, but discover someone else got to it first, but you have no idea who it was. YUCK!
I think the rest of the pens are with the missing socks.

You would not run out of toilet paper if you only used one square at a time like Cheryl Crow.
Hide the toothpaste. Just squeeze a little out and put it in a bowl on the sink for the pigs that like dirty toothpaste.
There must be something wrong with the pens you are buying. Try using pencils for a while to see if that helps.
I would hate to see how upset you would get if someone cut their toe nails in your house.
Lighten up, life is too short.

To repay who doesn't replace the toilet paper, simply "forget" yourself to replace it so that when the other person is in need of it they are s**t out of luck.
Try buying the toothpaste where the cap is a pop up cap instead of one that has to be screwed on or off completely.
I hate to admit this, but I stole the pens. I have a bad habit of somehow confiscating ones that I like or seem to write real well when I use them. SORRY!
I do have a possible solution that a client told me he did because his wife suffered from the same pen stealing disease as me. He found one of those pens that you can sometimes find at places such as your local liquor store, that when you click on it to use it, it shocks you. (I have also seen lighters and flashlights that do this also, and I'm sure there are other items as well.)
Needless to say, he said it worked like a charm, his wife no longer takes his or anyone else's pens.
Perhaps this will help you also........good luck!!

Mine wasn't so much the cap issue as squeezing from the middle of the tube and constatly having to fight to get paste out. Now each person has their own tube and there isn't any friction. It may seem small and petty but everyone has some small thing that aggrevates them and to me spending $1 - 2 to alleviate unnecessary tension is money well spent. As for pens, I buy the regular Bic pens for them to lose and the ones I prefer don't get touched. I think this has happened over a period of time that people have learned not to touch my good pens.

I do not have the toothpaste prob but the toilet paper thing drives me crazy. I've actually stopped replacing it myself. I just use a roll & then put it back in the cabinet. Eventually someone will change it. My pens disappear too. I was blaming it on the ferrets at first but I have recently discovered that it's my kids.

Generally, people suffering from a condition as serious as yours tend to take a chill pill.

your condition...most likely OCD

the person who doesnt repalce the cap....laziness

stop worrying so much about the little stuff and start worrying about the big stuff that affect us all...like pollution, corrupt politicians, Busch, etc.
