I've been playing for about half a year and getting pretty good, but i want to upgrade from my squire, and i've heard a lot of great reviews about the parker p44 and i dont have a particular sound yet, and the p 44 is supposed to be the highest quality guitar in its price range.

the problem is that i dont know if i should get it online or not, because of so many people saying they had problems with their guitars or had defects, but the parker p 44 isn't in any stores nearby, what should i do. And if i should buy online, can you post trusted websites

I've dealt with Musician's Friend before, never had any problems.

I did not see the P44 listed but they do have other models as well as a link to Parker's web site.
