As sadistic as it may sound........I wouldn't say a word. In the world that followed 9-11, If you spoke up and were to say anything about it before it happened, or since it was the morning of it happening and the planes were already in flight....chances are afterwards you would be treated as nothing more then a terrorist or someone who had ties with it and would then spend the years following it in prison somewhere or sentenced to death.
It would be sad to see it all happen again though thats for sure. But from there forward I would bet on every sporting event that I remembered the outcome of.
My answer will prob get a lot of thumbs down and I'm sorry, but no one is going to believe a fat white man from northern Minnesota somehow traveled back in time only to warn them about the biggest terrorist attack on US soil. If I weren't executed I would at the very least spend the rest of my days in a psych ward all the while things would still go down the way they did. I have no wish to be dead nor locked up all for nothing.

WOW. What a question.
I don't know that I would "do" anything different.
For example, say I tried to contact the media to say this event was ABOUT to occur... they'd have laughed in my face!
Or if I were in New York... what would I do, stand outside the building and tell people NOT to go in? LOL... I'd just be another crazy bag lady with an 'agenda'. Besides, New Yorkers (and I *AM* a New Yorker, born and raised) - we're NOT known for gullibility!
Shoot, this is going to bug me all night.... :P

I would be sad. That is the day my son left home for good. He lives 750 miles away. I go visit him twice a year. I know 911 happened the next day. There was nothing I could have done to prevent it!

I re-live the next morning over and over again.
I was working at the airport in Charlotte at
that time. [I think it will be difficult to choose a
best answer for this question].

rent a skywriter and warn all of the people in NYC that the towers were going to be hit!
EDIT: wait....no I wouldn't because then the government would think that I was a part of the plot and arrest me and stick me in Gitmo!
