Yes. I attended a community college for 2 1/2 years. It was a great experience. I went to a high school of 400. I was not ready to handle university classes which were bigger than my whole high school. It also allowed me to take a bigger variety of classes (for a lot less money) while deciding upon a major. Academically, I was ahead of the "native" university students when I transferred.

The downside (which can be overcome if you truly want to) is that it is more difficult to participate in extracurricular activities if you live in the far reaches of the college district.

i have. i do and don't agree with claria. i do because its fun. i don't because it's not entirely easy. it depends on what kind of professor that you have. most of mine have been hard nosers and tough as all hell (pardon my language!). threre have been several professors at the community college that have been chill and have the class call them by their first name (that was totally sweet). but the profeesors who had us call them by their first name were tough professors as well.
i think it really depends on the community college that you go to

It was alright once You get used to the people and the regime, timetables and differences in age groups and attitudes.

It was ok. I preferred night classes because of the "atmosphere" sort to speak.
