Those of you who are pushing for us to pull our soliders out of Iraq have no idea what youre doing to our country. Not only are you killing the morale of our soldiers, but if you think the world hates us now, wait until we pull out and the slaughter begins in Iraq. The world is going to hate us more for starting something and not finishing it. They will show video of the bloodletting on TV and criticize America for it. Not to mention a bomb going off in a neighborhood near you. Hopefully it won't kill somebody you know. Hopefully it won't kill somebody I know. Be careful what you ask for, you just might get it.

I'm not talking about soldiers getting killed here I already know some of them who have gotten killed. It was a tragedy yes but they put their lives ont the line willingly. No I'm talking about somebodies grandmother, or brother or mother or maybe even their whole family. Get real people.

I'm so fed up with all these anti war whiners saying "The war is unjust", "Pull out now", "There is no war on terror", "Bush lied" blah blah blah. Let's just pull out the troops and tell all of these anti war wimps and politicians that the blood is on their hands. Not just the Iraqi's blood, but also the blood of any US citizens that die if we are attacked again.

If the leader of another country behaved like Bush does to Iraq, he would be the scourge of the planet. There is already slaughter going on in Iraq so it doesn't have to start! The world already takes a dim view of us for being in the Mideast in the first place. Look what happened to Tony Blair? The bombs struck after he left office! These bombers are not rational. We have caused millions of Iraqis to move to refugee camps. They have no utilities, water, sewer, fresh food, education or hospitals. Bush and his pals have shredded that country and it's people. Leaving is the most sensible thing we can do to stop the killing in the neighborhoods where a few Iraqis have to live.

The first one to say this was a guy who was stranded on a deserted island with a friend. He listened to his friend ask God for a way off the island day in and day out. One day the guy's friend was waist deep in the ocean spear fishing. An unseen but undeniably real force that we can, for all intents and purposes, call by the name of "undertow" sucked the guy into the midle of the ocean. Sharks ate the guy, swam to the Carribean Isles and pooped him onto the shore of Grand Cayman. When the other guy was rescued, he was noted for 2 things: A sad desperation to never be in 3 feet of water, and always spouting off that particular saying.

The phrase is “be careful what you wish for you just might get it" A better phrase is "Thank God we don't have all the government we are paying for."
As for your rant, yes I do know what we are doing, saving soldiers lives and putting them to much better use! It doesn't mater whether we pull out now or in 20 years Iraq will still have to solve their problems themselves!
If you look back into records on desert storm veterans, they have suffered horribly from depleted uranium poisoning and the number that have died or been totally disabled is truly horrible! 90% of current veterans have the same future to look forward to. They also can look forward to virtually no support from the government! This is more sick and disgusting than the war itself.

I'm sorry you believe that.
But our presence in Iraq is what's hurting this country far more than pulling out would -- every military and intelligence report by experts (US and foreign) confirms this.
As for troop morale, it's at an all-time low because enlistment contracts aren't being honored, troops aren't receiving proper supplies or medical attention, and there is no end in sight as long as we stay in Iraq.
If it's a matter of the world hating us either way, I'd rather they hate us for choosing to keep our troops safe at home.

There's always been people that have to cause fear
They've been talking of the war now for many long years
I have read all their statements and I've not said a word
But now Lawd God, let my poor voice be heard.
Let me die in my footsteps
Before I go down under the ground.

Wait until the slaughter begins? What the hell do you think is happening now. Hurt the soldiers morale. Unlikely. Do you believe everything your told? Do you realize the damage we have done? Sounds like you believe the if we don't fight them there they will follow us home? Well maybe we should take it to Afghanistan where they were to begin with.

er... isn't that what happened when all of you guys went into Iraq... with the grand idea of creating a democracy?
what happens when you create a democracy that elects radial Muslims? we'll find out in a few years in Iraq...
and Iraq didn't attack us before... that's pretty well estabilshed... but apparently now conservatives think they will be attacking us all the time
