I think it's absolutely awesome, though I'm not sure if it looks better as Luka or Luca. =)
In any case, I love the name -- and personally think it sounds more feminine.

Luca...The cute (male) doctor on E.R. I've only heard of that name on ER, so I will always see Luca Kovatch (sp?) attached to the name.

Reminds me of the song... "my name is Luca, and I live on the second floor..."
I love the song and I love the name. Very pretty and modern.

I definitely think of this as a boys name! Lucia (pronounced Loosha) would be close but definitely feminine.

I think its a cute name but you'd have to be careful how it's shortened. You wouldn't want your little girl known as Luke.
I love the name Charlotte but I would call her Charlie.

babynames.com says it is a boy or a girl name. I like it.. Isn't Jennie Garth's kid named Luca Bella?

I think "Lucia" sounds nicer for a girl and there'd be a lot less confusion with gender mistakes as she gets older.

It's cute, but spelling it Luka might look more feminine.
