shouldnt fat people be taxed for their weight? that is of course, if they dont have glandular illnesses or other problems that thye cant control. the vast majority of them have a choice, they just decide that being fat is alright.
is this even possible? in america, it seems ironically that the poor are fatter than the rich, so it would be difficult to tax them.
the tax might encourage them to live a healthier lifestyle, and we will enjoy much more the views on the beaches.

Well, I guess many other undesirable groups need to be taxed. Lets start with the uneducated bigot group I think they detract more from our country than any other.

I read that about taxing fat people as well. How do you determine fat? Obese or above what is considered average by a group of medical advice specialists? Do we look at magazines and actors and actresses and say, well, they aren't fat, so if we are not them then we are taxed? This is the stupidest idea for a tax I have ever heard. If poor people can't even deal with their money now, imagine how they will deal with it when they are taxed for being a little heavy.

You're kidding, right?
If a person decides that being fat is all right - despite the medical evidence to the contrary - shouldn't that really be their free choice? Once we tax fat people, what's next? People who participate in risky behavior? The government is already taxing the hell out of tobacco and alcohol - and I don't see a great improvement or healthier lifestyles as a result.

i think that's a great idea.
exercise is a luxury of time, and since americans can't afford a home on one income, it makes time a little hard to find, but so what, let's tax the fatties...

even though more poor people smoke and cigarettes are taxed to death. and more poor people eat junky food which is also taxed, while produce is not (i think, i'm not sure about that part...)

so in a way they are already taxed, but hell, let's tax them some more.

by the way, what's the cost of beach front property?

Why not just run through the seven deadly sins and tax them all. Oh wait, that would be taxing everyone equally. Everyone has a vice, sin, problem, etc. Tax the people that feel the right to cast the first stone. The propensity of our country feels that way, so why not go with it.

Thats mean, especially big people with low self esteem like me. Yes, big ppl can lose weight but they shouldn't be motivated for this reason. it's as saying Gay people would be taxed for being gay. We are human. We are all the same. Get a life. Ugh, i hate politics. it was a mistake coming here. U politicians get a fuking life. Im outta here.

Tax drinkers!
Tax people who eat meat!
Tax people who don't exercise regularly!
Tax people who don't take their RDA of vitamins and minerals!
Tax people who don't get a full 8 hours of sleep each night!

Or, maybe, just maybe, all the self-righteous tweaks should stop worrying about other people. There's a thought.

I am not going to say your ignorant, or closed minded. I will disagree with you, people should not be taxed because of how they look. That said if people make poor choices with their health I should not have to help foot the medical bill, that is socialism, and we live in AMERICA.

I have a better idea. Why don't we tax judgemental jackasses who want to stereotype people as an excuse for exploiting them? And also tax the petty would-be tyrants that want to run everyone's life because they are under the egomaniacal illusion they are superior to their fellow citizens.
