What is a country that is most likely to declare a full scale war on the United States of America and could even invade them. A big country and no small countries in the middle eastern area that the United States could step on. This is just a fictional thing so yeah...

No single country is likely to declare war on the US, ever.

That is why we would be likely to get hit by SEVERAL of them at the same time, and some of the likely players are: Russia, North Korea, Iran, France, Italy, Venezuela, possibly Germany. The likely reason they would declare war on the US is because the US continually invaded countries without good cause. Like Iraq and soon Iran. Iran will be the straw that broke the camel's back, and just like Hitler/Germany bit off more than they could chew with Russia/Poland/France, the US is biting off more than it can chew with Afghanistan/Iraq/Iran/etc.

If they decided to hit the US directly... ouch, it would hurt BAD - where is our military to protect us? Oh yeah, all our best men and equipment are halfway around the world. Well I suppose we could just nuke everybody. But then again, Russia has a few nukes themselves. If a coalition of nations were to attack America, they would probably want to target our ICBM's first and keep them from launching. And if a coalition of nations attacked us, how would we choose to retaliate?

China is not actually America's enemy, and if the above scenario ever took place, we better hope and pray that China, Japan, and a few others come to our rescue, though I doubt they would due to the way the Bush government has treated our allies during his reign [of terror].

It's not going to happen. That would be an extremely stupid thing to do for any country large or small.

In 2007, it is impossible to militarily invade the US in the traditional sense. Any invasion force of any size would be noticed immediately...a few nukes and the game is over.

Even a country like Russia or China which is big enough to launch either a nuclear or military strike against the US would be destroyed during the counterattack. It just isn't possible the way things are now.

The moral rot of this country will void any reason for anyone
to declare war on it....Like the mighty Roman Empire and
other greats, America will crumble under its own weight....
...and the ones wanting to soak up the spoils may go to war
with each other to see see who gets the lion's share!

This one is a no brainer.

China.

Even if they can't beat us in tech for a few more years, the Russians sure taught the Nazis the value of numbers over pure tech on the Eastern front in WWII.

If America fights another major war, it will be against China.
And nuclear weapons are useless. It doesn't matter that we have enough to destroy them six times over. They've got enough to destroy us once, which is enough to keep us from ever using our nukes. It'll be a conventional war, it'll be nasty, and it won't be guaranteed that we will win.

Aw, you're no fun! North Korea is the most likely in the real world. Everybody else knows better.
But in a world of fiction? China. No question.

A small army could just walk right across our border in some areas, only being detected by the trash they leave behind while camping out.
how secure are we with a big portion of our fighting force in Iraq?

Declare? None.

OTOH, there is a likelihood that some countries might perpetrate acts of war. Iran seems likely. North Korea, possibly. Chavez seems loony enough to do something stupid, too.
