i see alot of young people on here that like old music..such as rolling stones.. kansas.. pink floyed... i do because i was a kid in the 70`s ..so why do you? if your a teenager or in your twenties?

Older music is much better than any of the crap they have out now. I'm 26 and I'll take Journey and Rod Stewart over any of this modern sh*t.

I like music from all times some of it beacause its what my mom and dad listened to in the car when I was little ... alot of it is just cause its damn good music I also like music from the 20s- 50s 60s 80s 90s and now I also love classical music ie moztart, Bach etc. I love Jazz, Punk, Rock etc.

I am only 4 years old and I enjoy a good Led song followed with a Pink Floyd chaser with just a hint of Skynrd sprinkled on top.
Some kids don't listen to the old stuff. I made a comment about Rolling Stones to a young girl (well older than my 4 years) and she said "Who?" and when I said they were as big as the Beatles she said "Who?". Maybe she was pulling my leg or takes the short bus to school...

I like music from the 60s,70s and 80s....but I was born in the 80s..

Better quality music really. I'm not saying that new music isn't good or anything, but t here was alot more raw talent back then...unlike now. My favorite song is by REM....night swimming. And im 14, haha.

New music is about sampling old music so why not just listen to the original instead of hearing someone mess it up.

i am 14 and i find that most ppl who only listen to like the Led Zep. classics and the floyd and stones classics are newbs, u need to get under the covers and find some undiscovered art in which you enjoy
for example my favorite artist EVER is alice cooper, like all of his stuff i can name over 200 alice songs that i know
i feel that teens are listening to more classic stuff because:
1. their parents play it for them a lot
2. you can appereciate it more because it is original
3. do you know that marylin manson is influenced by alice cooper
4. its just better and more enjoyable over all

Some of the new stuff sucks nowadays. And personally, I grew up listening to classic rock...so it sticks to you. A lot of it brings back memories too.
