I believe Elfen Lied is unbeatable! but I finished the series *tear* I was wondering if there was anything like it, besides things like Bleach, FMA, InuYasha, and all of that. LOL , I've also watched Trinity Blood and Blood+, anyone got ideas?

"When They Cry ~ Higurashi" (mystery/horror/thriller) -- Keiichi Maebara has gradually adjusted to pleasant life in the small rural village of Hinamizawa, where he has joined a game-playing club with the older girls amongst his fifteen classmates. As Keiichi soon learns, however, even a village like Hinamizawa has a dark underbelly, one that led to the brutal murder and dismemberment of a man a few years in the past. Every year since then, on the night of the annual festival, one person is murdered and another goes missing. The locals claim that the curse of the village god Oyashiro is responsible, but Keiichi soon has cause to suspect that his cute fellow club members either were involved or know more than they are admitting. The more he delves into the truth, the more he begins to suspect that he may be the next person to die.
While this show lacks the infamous nudity of Elfen Lied, Higurashi makes up for with mind games similiar to Paranoia Agent. It's a rare treat to see an anime that forces its viewers to jump through hoops on the journey to the truth. Be sure to keep on your toes for this one. Don't miss it and trust no one.

The anime "claymore" is great. i've never watched elfen lied but people compare claymore to elfen lied because of the gore i think. "claymore has a good plot to it. u can find it at crunchyroll.com. hope u like it

Well , you might like Crest of the Stars(banner of the Stars is the continuation of the series) its a sifi space opera anime.

I generally liked Elfien Lied but I think it is geared more to the guys because their is a lot of gore and naked women. There is a good storyline to it but I think the gore and nudity diminish it.
