I was at a local restaurant and saw my neighbor of almost 10 years "messing with" another woman! HE SAW ME...and then gave me a look as if he was "worried"....He has said nothing to me....IT HAS BEEN 2 days!!!.....we are not very close socially, but we have borrowed things from each other/small talk, taken in their mail, etc.....His wife has no idea....What should I do? This is very uncomfortable.....HELP!

Pedro, my suggestion would be to not get involved in this. To say something to your neighbor's wife would not be right. You really have no idea who he was with: It could have been his sister, his cousin, co-worker, anyone. If you are not well acquainted with him, you really wouldnt have a real insight as to who he and his family are. Without having a lot of background information about him/his family, you might just be drawing your own conclusion. Often times, when we see someone doing something 'we' think is wrong, we assume their facial expressions are dead give-aways. My sense is because you saw him with an unfamiliar female doesnt mean his reaction was one of being 'worried.' He may, in fact, have been surprised by seeing his neighbor in the same restaurant. To say his wife has no idea is drawing an unfair conclusion. My best advice is to ignore what you saw and move on. Should you see him other places, with the same or even other females, then come back and ask the question again. It's great to know you have a concern for his wife, but at this point, it may be unjustified. Take a wait and see approach.

Each individual situation must be rated solely upon it's particular merits. Did You bother to consider the fact that it was a harmless meal with an old friend? I often have lunch with a friend from Nursing College. Her Husband was once told that We were 'playing around'. He nearly destroyed Their marriage by making an accusation. Be very careful about not just what You say, but also what You think about others. If You really must become a part of His life come clean and just ask him "What should I say if Your Wife asks Me about You and whoever it was You were with the other night?" That leaves the options up to Him, and stops You from looking like a quidnunc (local gossip/busy body).

I would wait until both he and his Wife are outside or something and then just casually wander over and say Hello..then just make a passing comment like "yes I saw you the other day at (name of restaurant),mention how you just love their(something off the menu)" and when the small talk is done be on your way.
You will have cleared your conscience and the Wife will know for herself if there is any reason to be concerned...

Now he knows that you saw them he'll be -------- bricks wondering if you'll say something. I'd be enjoying the fact that hes sweating. Guys like that are cowards. Too chickenshit to be decent. If hes not happy he should end the marriage and let her get on with her life. What a jerk. I'd wait till they were both together and say Hey Joe who was that Babe you were having lunch with at such and such a restauarant the other day? In front of his wife of course. If you can't do it and act innocent about it keep your mouth shut. She'll find out soon enough.

you should tell the woman what you saw her husband do. maybe things will cool down then. then just pouch your lips at him. he'll leave you alone then. Same with me. I was in the mall and we were at Pac Sun. My BFF was there, and she had a boyfriend, she was making out with her ex their. There was also another group from school, I guess you can call them "emos" there was a group of GIRLS making out with eachother. We decided to tell the worker about this, and he kicked them out. It was last month. My bff got dumped by her actual boyfriend, and now, shes dating that other guy. I haven't heard the 'emo/illesbians yet. I'll get back to you on that 1!! :)

Hella yea you tell his wife. Just think if it was the other way around would you like to know that your spouse is cheating on you. If your not close to him then it shouldn't really matter because you won't be losing a close friend.

I think I would confront him about it. Tell him that he has put you in a bad spot and he needs to come clean with his wife. That's a tuff one. I would pray allot about it. One time back in the day my best friends husband wanted to kiss me and some other stuff. I asked him to leave. It totally bothered me so I got the two together and confronted him on his behavior. They are still happily married and were able to over come.

Stay out of it. You'd be more uncomfortable if you say something. The guy is already nervous, so just let him stew. The wife probably suspects something. If you tell her, and they resolve this, it will be beyond uncomfortable for everyone.

I actually kinda hate my neighbor, hes an as$ that beats his wife, so I would have taken a picture with my camera phone and sent it to her via email, as well as his boss.
