Supposedly they always take August off because of the heat. Is it right for the Iraqi Government to take a month off while U.S. troops continue to fight & die??????

Probably not.
Most likely they are taking it off because they won't have the U.S. CONGRESS THERE TO HOLD THEIR HANDS AND WALK THEM THROUGH THEIR PROBLEMS.
Our Congress will be on vacation at that time.
Then again, maybe our Government MADE them take that time off because they were afraid they would screw everything up if we weren't there to monitor their activities!

No, I think the troops should take the month off too. (It really IS too hot there in August to do anything.)
