We used to be best friends until we got to high school. Every summer we hung out and stuff in the neighborhood. However, this summer it's like something between us happened. She never returns my calls. She doesn't go anywhere because her parents have her on a tight leash and she has like 7 brothers and sisters. Everytime we hang out we have so much fun!! Also when she's around me she is overly friendly like hugging me and telling me I'm sexy (ok dont ask but she's like that). Her parents absolutely love me! What is going on? I ask her this and she goes "I'm sooo sorry I have/had guests over!" She always says this. She is lying but why?

Well maybe you should ask her right out if somthing is wrong and then you will know for sure.

Maybe something is going on in her family and she is busy with that and doesn't want to talk about it. Or maybe she is going through a stage. Or her other friends were doing something and they don't like you?(I hope thats not the case) When you ask her next time why she couldn't hang out with you and she says she had/has guest over say come on we have been friends for a long time please tell me what really is going on.

Calling you sexy? Oooohh boy, what more of a clue do you need? If she calls you sexy and then avoids you, shes afraid things are gonna get all awkward! You need to let her know that everything is fine, and if it bothered you, tell her not to say it anymore.
