Ok well lets think about this. Instant replay in baseball? What should it be used for. Now it should only be used for homeruns and catches that could potentially change the outcome of the came? That doesn't narrow it down any cause the catch could start a huge inning.

If they install instant replay into baseball they make those games that much longer, cause now they have to hold up the game to make sure they got it correct. Once they changed the call or left it the same, somebody is gonna come out and argue. That keeps the game on hold for even longer. Now the pitcher is cold and everything is out of whack and it blows up. Baseball games seem to be getting longer enough as it is with all the power that is going on now a days.

If you add instant replay you slow the game down and take it from a game for the players to play and put it into the hands of the umps to decide on those big calls. I know they gotta make the first choice, but after that, it should be all they get. There is no reason to give them a second shot at it. Just let them play and screw instant replay.

Instant replay in baseball is opening a can of worms. It is already a very slow sport, would it be used on every disputed call? Could you limit how many times a coach could dispute something? What if they are wrong, would there be a punishment... like maybe giving them an out that inning or the next.

If they were going to implement instant replay in baseball, it should be limited to the umpires discretion whether to use it, or have an extra ump in the booth reviewing things as they happen. However, umpires are literally right on 99% of their calls, so instant replay isn't really needed.

Baseball shouldnt have replay. I know that there have been many teams that have been screwed over due to missed calls (being a cardinals fan, world series against the royals with denkingers blown call), but it takes away from the originality and history of the sport. There are umps everywhere, especially during the playoffs. The NFL has it because sometimes the refs cant keep up with some plays and tennis is starting to make it more of a policy, but the MLB should keep it out.

No, it slow's down the game SOOOO much. It drives me crazy there is already enough time wasted w/ pitching changes, visits to the mound, fights w/ the umpire, ect. With instant replay we have to watch the pitcher get hit w/ the ball ten thousand times and the game lasts 3 hours. I dislike instant replay if you can tell.

Only if coaches are allowed 2 challenges per game, so that it doesn't slow the games down anymore.

I would rather not see it at all because there are to many calls in baseball that could be reviewed. The umpires and bad calls are about the only thing that the game of baseball still has in common with the old days.

Once per game for each of the teams. Remember the White Sox/Angels Champsionship Series in 05? The white sox won the game based on an error on the ump's call. Absolutely neccesary!

no blown calls a part of the game and arguing is a great part of the game it adds drama spirit and can sometimes be funny instant replay would ruin that.

No because it will slow the game down even more. Human error is apart of life yet we dont get replays for that.

No. it will lengthen the game even longer if this occurs...it will take away from the game time pureness....the umps make what they say was the correct call just like the umps 100 years ago...

No. I love the tradition in baseball, and part of that tradition is that the umpires are in control, and even though they may blow a call every once in a while, that's part of the game.
