Living is so much tho, i don't deny the wish that God should exist, just wish our prayer to him involved equal fair treatment of fellow humans.

I think life is a precious, beautiful experience *or at least should be* whether one believes in a higher being/ Creator God or not. Humans are creatures of amazing potential, our brains are awesome yet we use so little of it's full capability. Our independently functional heart *brain* is fascinating, we know it has more functions than working the heart but now how it interacts with our cranial brain.

There doesn't need to be a meaning to life for me to want to explore the opportunities my existence has given me, i do think how we live our lives matters more. Especially if this is the only opportunity of this experience we will have. I want to learn, develop and experience as much as i can in the time available to me. If that's all there is and i feel satisfied i'm making the best use possible of this opportunity, i don't NEED more.=)

Finding a way to help make the world we live in a place where EVERYONE has an equal opportunity to explore and develop in their life is far more important to me. The suffering of and injustice done to so many of my fellow humans really grieves me, i have no right to a better quality of life than they do. If there is any meaning to life, surely it is to contribute to righting this massive wrong. If we made it a priority i really think such inequities wouldn't exist. And they shouldn't.

Even if one believes in God and follows religion, i can't accept that procreation is the meaning of life. Procreation was certainly necessary in the early days of humans as the earth was sparsely populated but i can't believe it was God's longterm goal for us. We have so many talents and potential, to procreate or not is pure choice to me, i believe we are creatures of free will.

Didn't *Saint* Paul say it would be better for those who could to remain unmarried, as he did? I don't think he was encouraging having babies outside of marriage either. =)

The meaning of life is SURVIVAL. To ensure our very existence as long as we can. And considering the fact that we will eventually die on a natural way, our most important goal is to propagate and ensure the survival of the race. Because SURVIVAL is the highest law. But you can also choose to ensure your own survival instead through ascension. Of course only if you allow yourself to believe in such things.

In either case, the most important is to maintain our very existence as long as possible. You are searching for an answer that is encoded into your DNA. The ancient power that motivated living beings to take actions in order to SURVIVE. Survival and Replication. Methods that even the most basic lifeforms use to live their life. Creating a nice story around this about the 'core of life' or the 'meaning of our existence' is nothing more then using an other packaging with a different color.

For the umpteenth time, there is no absolute meaning of life. Procreation alone does not define a person's worth or value; it merely perpetuates the numerical population. That point is moot. If one still insists assigning any "meaning" to their life, one should just simply live and justify their existence in some form or fashion, at least for themselves if not for the beneift of society as a whole.

All religion or anti religion such as Communism have one thing in common. The point of Free Will. The reason and result is manifest in itself. A tramp can take a broken nation to global power (Hitler), a woman in a sexist world can become Emperor or Prime Minister (Queen Victoria, Maggie Thatcher), a legendary idiot can become leader of a super power (President G.W Bush). Anything is possible, it all comes down to thy Will!

We get meaning from living out our purpose in life.

“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (noted 20th century philosopher, mathematician and atheist)

So there it is from the thinking atheist; you must assume the existence of God in order to have the possibility of real purpose.

If God exists, He must have put our great need for meaning into our human nature. If He did that, it must have been to point us to seek Him.

You call yourself agnostic but all of us are unsure of the existence of God. We can be unsure and still seek Him. If you don't seek God, then perhaps you are using your uncertainty as an excuse not to seek Him.

God loves everyone He created . It doesn't matter who you are or what you believe or don't believe God has no favourites.Murderers ,Rapists,Dictators, are all loved by God the same as "good"people.God gives the choice for them to repent before they die or remain unrepentant. How many humans would act like God to one another. It is our free will that brings misery to the world,Not God.

the true meaning or point to life is to procreate. the continuation ofthe race for others to considert his question appears to be the most natural point of why we are here. But some very high & gay deep thinking guys told us that we need to search for more stuff to be whole or happy.

As for the way we live - well that is for organised religion to concern itself with, some of us believe that to have a god obsessed with each time we lie and masterbate will make God far too busy ( a least a billion peopel do something bad) but if living your life in acertain way benefits you then go for it.

peace.

There is no meaning to life. Which is quite relaxing. Why should there be a meaning? Things to do, not do, and all that? Just take it easy we all die in the end anyway ;)
