Appreciate your curiosity and it is indeed encouraging to be open and inquisitive but unfortunately some people are just too allergic when being questioned about their presence here. Not many people are gifted with such courage to ask or answer things with their own open hearts and being there to know the truth rather than being swayed by the trends and biasness of race and religion or peer influences.

Take a good look at the history of the posts, get to know the users... perhaps you'll get your answers there... As for me, I openly tell you now that I do dislike some other people here, but that doesn't make me stop using Answers because its not THE ONLY section available in Yahoo Answers...

Since you're new and hungry with such eagerness in you, I suggest you to do some more read ups, learn more about the different groups of users in here through personal observations. That's the only way you can find out who's who rather than being told in the open which person is against who.

I can tell you from two points of view that I'm being disliked:

(1) I've never openly told them what my citizenship is because I don't believe that my citizenship has anything to do with my rights to participate or knowing so much about Malaysia. To these people, foreigners should not know the ugly face of Malaysia as experienced in reality.

(2) They don't like my answers for being straightforward and sometimes considered 'provocative' (or should I say 'insensitive' to their point of views?)...

Lastly I'm also against certain things being practiced here (politically and socially), but doesn't mean that I have no rights to give my own comments towards them in the first place. I do not think that these people should have the last say in everything in order only to 'fit' their 'benchmark' of answering things. They can talk about everything else in here but tells you that you can't (because they don't like your answers), and that this is a Travel section... so we should just stick with travel related topics and leave politics and others aside, policing about other users about their rules of conducts without looking at their own behavior in the first place.

As the saying goes... curiosity kills the cat, Sarah... but if you've got guts made of iron and a heart that paces like a roadrunner, keep it up. This place can be made into a place of how you want it to be like... a fun or a not-very-fun place for yourself... so these are the things you may want to consider... Oh yeah, asking questions like these are 'forbidden' to some users too... so, be careful.

I haven't formally 'welcomed' you here yet... so, I would like to say WELCOME to our little section here :-)

P.s- I used to follow the Community Guidelines up to some point until Yahoo decided to 'upgrade' me into a newer account (suspend me), so this time, I am not a very law-abiding citizen in the Y/A land anymore. Customer Care is absolutely biased and possibly racist just like some users here so I'm somewhat angry cos' my rights are being abused here.

Welcome on board!!!

There is no like or dislike but after been in here for slightly more than 9 months, I am beginning to feel 'comfortable'. Sometime without evern know who answered a certain question, I already knew the person. Maybe this is another way of knowing each other SILENTLY...

Yah, there are some that can be irritating but it is up to us as individual how we respect the other party and to what sort of extend. Every question asked, there is no such thing as 100% good answers but it is good to know that there are many views waiting for the questioner's option.

Have a great time ahead....

PERSONALLY speaking i do not dislike anyone here. I love to like all. Some people some times give some irrelevant answers and we have to just ignore it.

You need not worry and you have the right to say or write what ever you like. But make a point not to hurt anyone personally. You try to give correct things and also try to learn, that will be your final earning from here. Welcome and best of luck.-

I don't know anyone here BUT I will say it is clear that a few people here need to take their chat to a more private place. I visit the forums in a number of countries & the Malaysia page is kind of unique the way a few names keep trying to provoke each other - & this is noted on one visit here.

unhappy yet real...maximum individuals presently won't have the ability to talk with out making use of cuss phrases. As became already suggested, we are surrounded via it. You even hear it in many the "music" human beings pay attention to. i'm mature adequate that i don't choose a undesirable mouth to talk. it truly is particularly impolite Given the prospect, i'm going to assert something to a individual in the event that they are in a position to't communicate with out filthy phrases. I consider you that it is not in basic terms the extra youthful human beings, many of the adults ought to enhance up. at situations they are worse than the extra youthful ones as a results of fact an grownup makes use of those phrases as an attack technique. some human beings do in basic terms not care approximately everybody anymore. in basic terms my opinion. Not personally, all we know is each other's profiles. I feel that we should be able to express ourselves and our opinions without being 'shot down' as long as we keep to the guidelines. I do not condone personal attacks of any kind, whether here in Y!A or in real life. Just be open-minded and learn to agree to disagree! Have fun!

I don't dislike anyone on here. I usually don't even pay attention to the names, just the comments. I do get aggravated with people who ask the same questions over and over. (I'm not talking about you. I've never seen this asked before.)

Since you are new here, don't make the same mistake I did and assume that you are entitled to say whatever you want to or ask whatever question comes to your mind!

I was horrified when I received violation notice e-mails and 10 points were deducted from my points! If I had bothered to read them, I wouldn't have had to go through that!

Welcome! I hope you enjoy your time here and that nobody upsets you with their questions or answers!
