uuugh, I totally remember what you are going thru, a 36DDD myself. The best ones I found were some thicker cotton ones, I think at JCPenny, Playtex maybe even. (always thought Playtex bras were for old ladies) They were in boxes behind the register. Also they didnt have underwire.
Also the ones that are actually sports nursing bras. The wider straps and thicker back bands help. No wire here either. Ditch the wire.
Also I liked sleeping in the tanks with just the built in shelf bra. Not maternity. Just slip the strap down.
Now when you need a really great sports bra - for non nursing, go with enells they are awesome.
One more thought, go out to Amazon.com and search nursing bras and read the reviews. Im doing that now trying to find a strapless minimizer for under a bridesmaid dress. Then if I cant find in the stores may order. I also now remembered I did order one of Bravado brand, and wore it all the time. Rather spend $55 for one that works, then buying $20 one after $20 one that never works.

I know what you're feeling! I used to be a 38 H...yes H cup and during my first 2 pregnancies I had to wear the sport type nursing/maternity bras. I found that they did give me great support and comfort. However they are made a bit smaller so you may have to go to a specialty shop to have one made. I'm now a 38 DD (post surgery) and the bras worked just as well during/after the 3rd & 4th. I'm now newly pregnant with #5 and will wear one again! They really help with the weight after your milk comes in after baby!
Good luck!

Most of the very good nursing bras need to be purchased mail order. Most have web sites. The soft sleep bras are just fine for sleeping. They provide only light support on purpose. Medula is just one brand. If you do a google search, you will find others. These are not going to be inexpensive because they have to be engineered (they hold much more weight than the other kinds).

They're not great for large breasted women. The convienence is in the flap that goes down for when you want to nurse and not have to take off your bra completely. I would say to get one without an underwire so it doesn't cut into you. That could cause an infection in a milk gland later on. You'll probably have to deal with a bit less support while your pregnant and nursing. But, sometimes those full milk breasts have a way of standing on their own. ha ha! Good luck. :)

Try Nordstrom's. They're a little pricier, but you just need one good one, and they are experienced at fitting. I found a relatively supportive one by Anita, and a nice one for the cleavage by La Leche League (however I didn't see it on their website).
You might also look into Freya brand bras. They have one nursing bra "Rosalie" that goes into larger cup sizes, and Goddess brand also hits the H and bigger.
Good luck!

NO they suck and are all smaller than normal sized bras that say the same size! I don't know how your gonna get support being that size without a wire. Mine are similar in size. I never go without the wire ones. Wear a tight fitting t-shirt to sleep in w/o the bra

I definatly know that Target or Walmart DOES NOT sell anything supportive! Dont waste your time there, some one told me to buy one from a Maternity store, more expensive though. But hey keeping some form in your breats IS WORTH IT!

No, actually they suck! LOL..... I would recommend a really good-quality sports bra... you can sleep in them comfortably, and wear them during the day! That's what I've "graduated" to! :-) They seem to be the best option, for me at least!
Good luck!
p.s. I'm with you - I don't EVEN want to know what I am now! LOL
