Today Mapquest gave me some f***ed up directions and I ended up missing my doctor's appointment and turning a 20 minute drive into one and a half hours. Damn you friday the 13th!

To answer the first question: It's not really a bad luck day. It's just that ever since the actual movie "Friday the 13th" came out, people spread that Friday the 13th is bad luck day just to have the movie to get more popular. Second question: For every Friday the 13th I've had, nothing bad luck usually happens to me. It's usually good luck.

I overslept, I slipped, but caught myself before I actually fell getting out of the shower. Then when I went to leave for work, the neighbors' cat jumped out of the back of my truck. He's a black cat. I then realized that it had rained overnight and my window was down. Then when I went to start my truck, the battery was dead. I had to lug a charger out and start it. That made me 30 minutes late for work, so I had to stay late to make up the time. Then the rest of the day went pretty smooth. Until I went to change the battery in my truck and lost the socket I was using. Thank goodness the day is almost over. I usually don't have extreme bad luck 13's, but today I guess was an exception. Hope this makes your day better.

I did in 1996. I had a surgery, had complications and was in ICU for 2 days. I survived just fine. However I had previously joked around with the anesthesiologist and asked him if he was superstitious about doing surgery on Friday the 13th. He said no. They had to take me back to surgery 3 hours after the 1st one as I was bleeding internally. I am now slightly superstitious lol

Yeaaa man i did lol woke up this mornin and went outside and my dang 4runner had a flat tire. then i drove 45 minute to apply for a job, but for some reason they dont take apps on friday? lol soo that was wierd i asked if they could file it in their drawer until monday and they said no. well so i went home and a buncha other crap happened so i had a little bad lucky today but it turned out to be good.

i didn't have any bad luck but some of the WEIRDEST people came into my work today! we're talking elephantitis, and the world's skinniest man (see the last question i asked for more details on that freak), and a woman on a BIKE. it was soooo weird! i thought it was just because it was casual friday that it brought out the freaks but then i realized it was the 13th and it all made sense then.

I developed a painful infection in my thumb. I discovered my car boot had been broken into/vandalised. The hot water system spat and delivered brown murky water into my bath tub just as I got into it. My iPod stopped working - no lights, no response, no nothing. My backpack leant against an exposed lightbulb which melted down the zipper and left a big black hole. (one bit of luck - it didn't burn the place down.) I never believed in Friday 13th until yesterday.

I anticipated bad luck,zipped up my purse and didn't carry my paycheck with me until I went directly to the bank. I carried an umbrella and left my credit card at home. It didn't rain but I was saved from a shopping spree. It was a beautiful day in every way but it is not over yet.

Actually I good thing happened and one BAD thing happened. When I was driving a giant block of wood was flying through the air and almost hit my car in the front but thankfully i swirved in time!! And the LUCKY thing was that my mom got bird poop on her shirt and that is suposedly lucky!!

i had a softball game and i blew it. i missed almost every ball that came to me i struck out every time i was up. then one time when i was up to bat the ball hit my finger and of course i thought it went foul SO i didn't run. but no it went right to the second baseman who threw me out. I'm now the laughing stock of the team because of that stupid ball.......Oh and my coach got thrown out of the game to complicate it even more because the umps were playing favorites and he wasn't going to let that happen. We lost10-0. it was my worst game ever.... I'm so mad at myself i just wish i could blame it on Friday the 13 but lucky me I'm not superstitious.
