as i've said before were it not for nurses i'd be a dead man. now i don't know how it is in the states but the only thing i've ever complained about nurses is that it seems that they can't wipe their bum without having a meeting about it first. maybe it's because i live in a small town but the doc i have kept me alive a lot longer then then many thought i was gonna last, so i've learned to keep such complaints to myself after all these are the people who do shove the sharp pointy things in you

It's because nurses care on a more personal level in my experience. I've had very funny talkative Dr.'s as well. The nurses have to see the worse from patients though.
A big Woo Hoo to the nurses in our lives.

No, I think that there are some absolutely wonderful nurses out there. Several of them very helpful to me with my grandma in the months before she died because of how often we had to take her to the ER. I'm also grateful because my grandma (the one who died) was also an RN and she helped me so much when I was a child and sick with colds and when I had to have my first surgery for one of my health problems she took care of my incisions for me and I was able to learn how to do that.
I wanted to be a nurse and almost went to school for it in 2001.
They are a very unique profession that I respect very highly although I know that they have a lot of pressure on them when it comes to the demands of their job because it is always changing so much.

I am a nurse and have heard many patients say that...many doctors, I think are too busy to remember that the emotionnal side of a sickness outweights the physical in many cases...

Yeah, first time became into around 7 years previous. It took as some years to perfect because it does to get a level in ideas surgical treatment. The gadgets went from sticks to the actual concern, extremely an progression. ~~Peace~~

I think so. I remember one ER nurse who was taking care of me, I was so miserable and i knew I was acting like a baby, but she took care of me like an an adult who needed some TLC, I'll never forget the love she made me feel with her care of me. I'm better now. And I hope to see her again one day, under better circumstances, to tell her that I love her!

Thank you God for nurses. They can be so loving and kind. I really don't think doctors could do their job without these angels of mercy.
