My rabbit won't eat his regular food anymore. He'll eat his treat sticks, carrots, and lettuce but not his regular food. Nothing major has happened in the last little while either so I don't understand.

Stop giving him treats. He'll get hungry and start eating his food again. You could try mixing in a new kind of food too. When he's eating his food good, you can give him treats again, but try cutting him back and his snacks. Make sure he's getting hay ,like timothy or orchard grass.

Take away the treat sticks- they are incredibly unhealthy. Carrots should only be fed as an occasional treat because they are sugary.

A rabbit's diet should be a limited amount of plain, no treats added pellets with lots of grass hay like timothy and possibly leafy veggies like dark green lettuces, collard greens, parsley, etc. Read here for more info on how to feed rabbits:

If this doesn't help, then a trip to the vet might be necessary. Sometimes rabbits stop eating a particular type of food because their molars have worn down unevenly and are causing pain. You can't see this without a special scope because the spikey little spurs can be small and way at the back of the mouth. A vet can treat this.

Don't feed the treat sticks anymore. Rabbits are kind of like kids. You can give them treats and they will fill up on the treats then not want supper. Just like with kids its better that they eat supper than fill up on junk.

You have to be careful feeding to many treats. They can make your rabbit sick. When a rabbit gets sick sometimes the only thing you can get it to eat are "treats".

I'd suggest throwing in a small handfull of timothy hay, orchard grass hay or straw. They sometimes treat that as a treat and by eating that it will help get fiber in their digestive system helping to fight off the diahrrea that the treats can cause.

Either that or just leave it nothing but the pellets and water. It will eat them when it gets hungry enough. Just make sure the pellets aren't stale. If the pellets have been in the bowl over 24 hours then throw them out and give your rabbit fresh pellets. No rabbit likes to eat stale pellets.

I raise Mini Lops for show-Please do not give your rabbit human food. Though they may beg for it, it could end of killing them. Rabbits have very complicated digestive systems, and should be fed only what they are supposed to be fed. Here are some ok fruits and veggies to feed your bunnies: *Carrots *Alfalfa and Timothy based hay *Lettuce *Celry *Apples (without the seeds) *Brocli *Grass *Leaves *Sunflower seeds (My rabbits LOVE these, feed them in small amounts tho) Hope that helps, have fun with your lop!

Be careful. Rabbits have very delicate digestive systems and can easily die from eating the wrong foods (ie too many treats). You need to find an expert online or ask your vet.
