Goofy and unrealistic as they may be ,I'm hooked. If i'm not watching them, I'm reading about them. Thank God for Soapnet, now i never miss an episode of my favorites

Generally, I detest soap operas - I get enough same sh*t, different day in my life, and it's called a job!
However.....
I am hooked on Passions - and I hate myself all the more for it! When it was believed the show was going to be canceled - everything started coming to a head! Now I've got to follow this damned blackmailer story out! We've already come so far!!
My only saving grace is that I only follow it on-line for the most part - for the fear that if I were to actually watch it, my brain would explode, like in that movie Scanners.

Y & R and ATWT are the only ones I can stand, and I love them. I think its the quality of the actors, and the way they bring pertinent issues into the script

they are stupid because they repeat everything with everyone over a million of time, but they are addictive
