personally I thought the book was better, but i guess the movie was better than the fourth one.

BOOK is DEFINITELY BETTER ...
Personally, the 1st Movie was closest to the book in timeline and progression.
Since that time -- the movies have gotten more and more away from the books -- and this last one was sheer disappointment.
HOWEVER ... those who DID NOT Read the book did think that the movie was good. It is only those of us who ACTUALLY READ The book that think this movie is terrible.

I thought the movie definitely didn't live up to the book (not like they ever do, but I think it could have been better.) The entire movie seemed too rushed and the characters had very limited dialogue. The writer made some lines that were way out of character. I would be surprised if someone who loved the book said they loved the movie.

I agree. I thought the book was better, although the movie wasn't bad. I did feel like at times they left out some of the good parts though. The end with dueling was pretty good.

The movie was all good but I was a wee bit disapointed. It was way off from the book and was speedy... I liked the book alot better!! But I watch all the movies and read all the books.. lol
EDIT: I was very disapointed in Tonks character! She didnt look anything like they said in the book.. She had long purple hair in the movie, and the book said she had short bubble gum pink hair!! >.<

The book was definetly better, made alot more sense with all the background information!
Belatrix LeStrange bothered me because she is the same woman who played Charlie's mother in the newest version of Charlie and the chocolate Factory *twitches*

Well of course the books are better but this movie was great!! much better than the last movie!! i was a bit let down after the last one but i was happy with this one!!!

They left out way too much stuff, and they only focused on Prof. Umbridge, made me mad! So I'd have to say it's a -10 compared to the book.

I LOVED IT THOUGHT IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!
i went at 1203 opening morning!!!!!
I didnt read the book...
The thing that made it better than the 4th on(i thought) was Fred and George...
