I've heard that the PS3 has bugs, but was wondering if they are taken care of now. I have a bunch of PS2 games and a PSP but no Xbox material. I was wondering which console would be the best overall for me.

Dammit, I am tired of everyone leaving off the Nintendo WII. The WII is better than all of them and it cost less.

at the moment the 360 is the best' the games are a bit cheaper and 90% of ps3 games are ports from the 360 ie they have been out for months ahead of the ps3 plus the graphical differances are not worth talking about ..... of course this may change in a year or 2 but for now the 360 has more games that are out sooner and they are cheaper.... plus the 360 has a large back catalouge of cheap second hand games but here's the downside.... there have been a lot of reports of failures with the 360 (and i mean a lot!!!) so do not buy the 360 console second hand ..microsoft have just this week increased the warranty to 3 years so you should be alright if you do by one p.s try the game 'prey' it is very good

Right now, a 360 is probably a better purchase. PS3's, even with the recent price drop, are still pretty costly and don't have nearly as many exclusive titles as the 360 (although they did announce a few at E3 recently). However, if you're the type of guy who loves Metal Gear and Final Fantasy, you might want to go with the PS3. It depends a lot on preferences as other people have said, but without knowing yours, I would recommend the Xbox 360.

Well, like the guy said, they have their own stregnths and weakness, I perssonally own a Xbox 360, and I dont regret it, it is up to you what you wana buy, but above all, I would prefer the 360, many may disagree. So I may recive many thumbs down for this.

They all have their own strengths and weaknesses and they all have their own little exclusive games -- it's up to you to decide what you like.
