Most newer cars have smaller headlamp cases. The factory bulbs work ok but not a good quility light.I bought a 2003 chevy cavalier and the headlamps were ok but i drive a lot on country roads.I replaced the factory bulbs with a set of silver star bulbs. The light increace was a least 50% better and the light covers the whole road better then i hoped it would.Hope this helps.

I put 55/105 watt bulbs in mine to blind the buttholes that won't turn their high beams off, or who cross wire their headlights
55 is the legal output for low beams, 105 is 40 watts over legal for high beams.

Sylvania is definatly a great brand, thats mostly what ive been using on the newer vehicles in our fleet, and we depend on our lights, because we have to bale hay at night when the oat are enclosed
