I was wondering if I was the only person that has ever had this feeling. I sometimes catch myself thinking evil thoughts or at times sexual thoughts of certain people then they will all of a sudden turn and stare at me as if they knew what I was thinking. I am not crazy just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced anything similar. Please attempt to be nice in answering this question. Thanks to all that answer.

Have you ever wondered if people had the thoughts you thought they were thinking when they looked in your direction. How many people have looked away from you because they thought they knew what you were thinking and were too embarrassed to look at you? Oh what a tangled web of thoughts our mind can weave.

Actually I doubt anbody can read minds... but some people are very perceptive and intuitive. I think it is a gift. Others can run fast.. ~ whatever. I can sense my friend in Germany. She thought about me yesterday. We don't even bother emailing anymore and one day she will return to pick up her walking stick (a crooked cane) that is just inside my front door ready for her to pick up her journey where she left it. What you are sensing is more likely to be guilt for having evil thoughts. You know it's naughty... and you try to stop yourself.. but the naughty person that is you is sometimes inadvertently coaxed out and revealed and that can be embarrassing. (Well it can be for me at least .. lol).
I think however that some people are tuned to each other. It is that moment when you turn to someone (or shut your eyes) and you know (or perhaps you just imagine it) that they are thinking the same thing that you are. I experience that from time to time.
Have you ever had a conversation where the person you are talking to is probably the only one who knows what you are saying because you are speaking in a kind of codified way.. that is ... not literally? I enjoy those conversations all the time with some people. It is sort of like sex.... sometimes there is chemistry and you know when to be still and when to move. I'm lying still now.

No, I personally do not believe in "mind reading". I think that while pondering thoughts about a certain someone, you were probably spacing out, staring at them. they probably just had that feeling that someone was staring at them. It's amazing how much of our thoughts are given away in our body language, too. Even if it's never said aloud, it's apparent when someone doesn't like you, or is attracted to you, even when they try to conceal it.

No but seriously I feel certain people may read your body language or feel you staring at them and turn to see the expression on your face to try and read what your body is giving off but other then that I don't believe in psychics and all that stuff.

I think you can generalize what other people are thinking. For example, your screen name and your picture. I'm looking at them and guess what I am thinking right now! See it's just a generalization of what others are thinking. In reality, I'm thinking what time is it and if I'm alone in the house.

ok there was this one time when i was lost in my thoughts and i wasnt aware of me putting my index finger near my lips while thinking... all of a sudden the image of having oral sex popped into my mind and when i looked around i saw the guy looking at me with an evil smile! coincidence? i dont know but it creeped me out!

I think that's called your conscience. Maybe you feel guilty for having evil thoughts or maybe you drool sometimes when you have sexual thoughts about people???

yes i believe to a certain extent people can feel vibes off your thoughts there for they get a feeling of what your thinking

i'm right there with you! sometimes i think that as well, that someone can read my mind. like if i'm thinking about my boyfriend and i...and i'm like praying my parents cant read my mind. haha. but i've kind of overlooked it because i don't think it's possible. but sometimes i get those thoughts.
