I was pretty much decided on a 360, but after E3, im not so sure. yeah, the 360 has gears, halo, assasins creed, ect, but it looks like (after e3) that the ps3 is getting some good games (killzone 2, mgs4, warhalk, resistance, ect) and it just got a price drop, so what do you people think?

Is a graphical comparison between 360 and ps3. hover your mouse over the 360 image to view the ps3 version. Sony fanboys and microsoft fanboys are diehards and are gonna try to make one or the other seem like they suck. get what you think is right.

Haze is a timed exclusive... it will be on the 360, as will UT3 GTA IV Devil may Cry, the 360 also has a former PS game.... Ace Combat 6 which btw kicks major ***.
The price drop is temporary, only until they clear out current 60gb stocks then the price goes back up on the 80GB, whivh will be the only PS3 available.
360 will drop it's price soon (possibly by x-mas)
Pretty much every game on the PS3 that is not First Party will be on 360.

PS3. Sure, the 360 got Halo, Bio Shock, Gears of War 2, but the PS3 got Heavenly Sword, God of War 3, Lair, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Final Fantasy XIII.
G4 said Sony made the most noise during E3, which was something that a lot of people didn't expect. Too bad I missed Sony's conference because I had to work, but luckily, I taped it, so I'll have to go watch and see what I can be excited about.

PS3 no doubt.
note: the graphic comparison site fails to mention that the PS3 games are ports of the 360 games, which apparently isn't very straightforward (especially if you're rushing the game through for launch)
Developers are starting to develop from the ground up for the PS3, and making use of its unique architecture.
i can also see developers wanting to use the Blu-rays extra storage more in the future (something the 360 would have to get round as microsoft has already stated no game will need to use it's HD drive)

Xbox 360 definetly not to mention the PS3 price drop is temporarily since the 60GB model is going to be discontinued until then u will have to pay 600 bucks for the 80Gb

My dad will be buying an Xbox 360 for me and my brother on Sunday hopefully. I say get an Xbox 360. Ps3 has better graphics though, but for a $100 just for better graphics i mean the 360 has pretty decent graphics. Lets Compare.

Cons
-Has a better chance of getting the "ring of death"
-You have to pay to play online.
-Certain variations dont include "everything"
-not "family friendly"
-hd dvd sold seperatley
Pros
-Basically.. What ever game the ps3 has xbox 360 has it too. But what ever game the xbox 360 has the ps3 may not have.
-Good online play system
-different variations to fit ur budget or needs.
Ps3
Cons
-not as good online system
-only 1 variation
-no ps3 console problems so far
Pros
-Console includes "everything" you need
-awesome graphics
-brighter screen
-free online play
-blu-ray included
-blu-ray disc gaining popularity
Depending on what you need its a tie. If your on a budget Xbox 360 definetley. If your looking for awesome graphics Ps3 definetly. Pick the right console! : )

Assasins Creed is coming for PS3 also along w/ Haze (just made exclusive) the PS3 is starting to catch up and will end up on top.
